Meet the Doctors
Dr. Chris Chenoweth
Dr. Chenoweth is an honors graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and the Northeastern State University College of Optometry, and is a former Assistant Adjunct Clinical Professor at Pacific University in Forrest Grove, OR.
He is an active member of both the Oklahoma and American Optometric Associations, and is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. He is also on the Regional Board of Directors for Integris Health System.
When he is not working, Dr. Chenoweth enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking and biking, and is very involved with church and youth ministry. He is married, and has five children and one Miniature Pinscher.
Dr. Abbie Etter
Dr. Abbie Etter was raised in Healdton, OK. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Physiology and Biology from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Etter attended Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Optometry. During her time at NSUOCO, Dr. Etter received the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society Silver Medal for highest GPA, was chosen by her professors to be in the CooperVision Myopia Management Leadership Society, and received awards for her specialty contact lens fittings and research with optometric equipment.
Dr. Etter practices full scope comprehensive eye care with emphasis in myopia management, dry eye, and laser eye procedures. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians.
In her free time, Dr. Etter enjoys going to OSU sporting events and spending time with her husband, Carson, and her Miniature Australian Shepherd, Hardy.
