What were the goals with the aesthetic treatments that you had done and what did you have done?
I had the—well, I call it the “ultra bright light treatment” on my face and around my eyes.
Originally it was done for my dry eyes, but then as we began, we did it on my face, and that’s where we ended up going with it.

Why was this important to you?
Well, I had what some might call rosacea, but it was just veins underneath the skin. And they were turning redder and redder as I got older.

How did you connect with Chenoweth Eye Center?
I actually connected with them through my wife. My wife was having her eyes checked, and Dr. Chenoweth noticed something on her hand, a little brown spot. He said he thought he might be able to help it.
And he showed her how it worked, didn’t do any treatment, just showed her what the equipment looked like.
And she came home telling me about it and he said it would help and wanted to maybe have a consultation to look at it.
What was their plan of treatment for you and your recovery time?
The plan for treatment was, I had four sessions. They didn’t last very long.
I went in and did the treatment and then another two weeks went by and I did the other one. And that lasted for four different treatments.
And there really was no recovery time. I just couldn’t get out in the bright sun.
How did they help you achieve the results that you wanted?
I think it’s pretty amazing what they were able to do.
I didn’t get rid of all of the veins, which naturally that probably would’ve taken some more treatments. But I got rid of the biggest majority, I’d say 70 percent, maybe even 75 percent.

Right now, it’s still very good. I get compliments about right now that people say that I look good.
What did you feel after the treatment?
I felt more confident. Really. I felt more confident immediately after I left that something had happened.
Now, like I said, could I really tell anything at first? No, but I knew it was coming because after the first treatment, I could see it coming. So it just gave me more confidence.

Well, they were very informative, very kind, very professional.
They kept me on my schedule, made sure I was there, sent me reminders.
They were ready for me when I came, you know, I didn’t have to wait. It was in and out.
Is there anything else that you would like to add?
I think some people might be a little afraid. It can be a little shocking sometimes to have that bright light do that.
But after just a few minutes, you get used to it and you don’t have to worry about it next time.
