At a routine eye exam at Chenoweth Eye & Aesthetics, she was told that they could help her with a simple, non-invasive treatment.
“It was a great procedure. I’m glad I did it,” Kathy says.
Can you introduce yourself?
I’m Kathy Berryhill and I live in central Sapulpa.
How did you connect with Chenoweth?
I was a former patient of Dr. Hicks and Dr. Morris. Dr. Chenoweth bought the clinic from them, and so I just continued with the same staff and the same office.
As a patient at Chenoweth, what have you done there?
I’ve had my eye exams. And I’ve ordered glasses through there. And then I also had a treatment to allow them to kind of regenerate tear ducts for dry eye.
How was the dry eye problem impacting your life?
The dry eyes were uncomfortable. It would come on slowly, and I would do repeated blinking to try to increase the moisture so my distance vision would be better. It was making my vision worse and making it unsafe to drive at night.
Then when I had my eyes checked, Chenoweth said that they might be able to help.
What did the dry eye treatment process look like?
I just came in for an appointment, and it was a very comfortable in-office procedure, non-invasive. I repeated that over a period of a few months. I think there were maybe three or four treatments, which took about 10 minutes each time.
What has your experience been like after treatment?
I’ve had a big increase in comfort in my eyes and in my vision. My overall wellbeing is better, because I’m safe diving, able to see better in my world and see my grandchildren.
It was a great procedure. I’m glad I did it.
Would you recommend Chenoweth to others?
I would recommend them. I like their professionalism and the ease of ordering my glasses there. And the ability to call if I have a medical emergency with my eyes.
